I've been passionate about arts and crafts since childhood. While my professional journey took a different route — spending over 20 years in the field of Information Technology — my love for creativity never faded. That enduring curiosity eventually led me to pursue a BFA in Photography from East Carolina University and launch Frambuesa y Tamarindo.

Frambuesa y Tamarindo is more than a brand — it's a creative outlet and a mission. I created it to inspire others to reconnect with their own creativity through art. From hands-on workshops and DIY projects to carefully crafted handmade items, everything I offer is rooted in a desire to make art accessible, joyful, and a part of everyday life.

My work focuses on current and cultural issues such as sexism, immigration and my family history. I’m interested in alternative photographic processes, digital media and textiles arts. Working with mixed media gives me the freedom to combine different crafts while also using repurpose material to create unique pieces.
